Good evening, folks. I hail from Michigan and have been a long time reader, part time subscriber!
I have been pouring over the threads here, and I'm most likely missing something, but figured I'd ask to be sure.
Long story short, I went to update my DB on the whistler app like normal, and as al have discovered, Whistler is gone. At some point my SD was corrupted, and i somehow lost my DB. I have downloaded the DB per the whistler sticky, 894- but I don't have any trunking radio id's. I have MPSCS as a trunking network, with Hillsdale County, Michigan as my main, but have nothing in radio id's. I can't even pick up Hillsdale City or Reading EMS as they use MPSCS.
Is there a way to add the trunking back to scanner, or do i now have an expensive analog scanner until someone can give a tutorial on how to add back manually?
Thanks for any help in advance, it's definitely greatly appreciated.

The TRX-x Series Scanners Trunk Track just fine with TALKGROUP ID's it does not have to have the UID's (User ID's).
I own both TRX-x's and both track the TACN P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 System.
All UID's do is state what radio is keying the Takgroup on the System.
What you need to do is.
1. Pick the System
2. Pick the Sites you can hear.
3. Pick the Talkgroups of the Users you want to hear.

Doing those 3 things you will again enjoy listening to that System again.

You don't need radio ids to listen, you need group ids which are contained in the database 894 you downloaded and hopefully followed the instructions to install.

With the database in your EZ Scan software you can go to the library import and create a new file for your scanner, you do not need to do it manually. I do not understand why you can not use EZ Scan to create a new scanner profile.
