Has anyone found a amplified speaker that will work with the TRX1? I have tried 2 different amplified speaker that will blow you away and great sound with my 3 other scanners but are worthless with the TRX1. I"m finding more - than + with this new TRX1.

I think I remember reading they changed the audio amps and they no longer like 8 ohms you might try a pyle ground loop isolator and see if that helps.

Great question. I have the TRX-1 and am pleased with the radio but yes, a boost in the audio would be helpful. Hopefully someone on this forum can tell us what amplified speaker will work on the TRX-1.
