The other day I found my copper tape I bought and got bored so I took the back 6 screws off and removed the SD card and the belt clip and took out the batteries and the cover,I covered the inside back half of the radio where the 4 long screws go and where the belt clip is and put it back together.
My scanner behaves alot better now,less false stops,a lower noise floor and better reception!Figured I would share.Just for the record,I have my battery door covered in copper tape as well.Why did I do this?
I was getting alot of false hits or frequency stops on the 440MHZ band,this does not happen anymore.Yay!
