TRX1 mode change ?

Question about mode change on the TRX1 .

Recently TDCJ (Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice) has changed there mode from NFM to DMR , but RR hasn't updated the database to reflect the change. Is there a way to manually change the mode on the TRX1 ? NOTE: I'm still waiting for the TXR1 to be delivered, so i'm preparing ahead of time. I'm currently using a WS1040 which doesn't support DMR.

The RR database won't be updated until someone submits the correct information, including frequency, color code and talkgroup.

You can edit anything you download from the database yourself in the software that comes with the TRX1.
