Trying to run two feeds on same puter

I have 1 feed already running on a windows computer with 1 scanner. Running very well.

I am trying to set up another feed with another scanner. Both scanners are the same ( 996xt ). I would like to run both off the same computer.

The sound card is motherboard related. Being that the only slot left inside the computer apparently is not letting me add an audio sound card. I have tried 2 different ones and they are to big. I am using a slimline computer and I am guessing I have to get one that is specific for slimlines.

I was reading earlier in another post, but unable to find it, ( probably using wrong search words ) that a USB sound card would work. Well, I received 2 different ones yesterday and neither one will work. Or I have not figured out how to use them in order to plug in the scanner to it.

I have got the other scanner up on a different computer and seems to be working, but I really do not want to add another computer ( now 3 ) running 24/7.

Any ideas on how or what I can do to get both scanners running on the same computer?

What do you mean by the USB sound cards don't work? Do they show up in the Device Manager?

Simplest way since you are using RadioFeed is use just one sound card. Hook up one of the scanners to the left channel and the other scanner to the right channel. Turn the left up and right down on one of the RadioFeed instance and the opposite on the other instance. Set Mono mode on both instances.

Yes, each card shows up in the device manager. I can hook headphones to it ( USB sound card ) and I can hear the scanner. However when using them, nothing seems to end up being feed when I plug in either the mic side or the headphone side.

I will try here in a bit in using the one card.
