I saw this on the RR database...

FM.JPG

... so I tried to scan all the frequencies in a target range with the RSP1A, setting the mode to frequency modulation (as per the listing)...

SET.JPG

... however as soon as I click on scan, the dang thing reverts back to amplitude modulation.

REVERT.JPG

... is there a way to override?

I'll add that it DOES work on the cheap RTL-SDR.BLOG unit with SDR#.

If you click on "mem pan" in the main window you will have the place to program the individual frequencies and each one will have a setting for modulation mode.

For a range scan you configure the settings but modulation mode are missing in that window. But there are deafult settings file, the same way as in SDR#, where you set the deafult values. Click on "OPT" in the main window and choose "Open data directory in explorer" and edit the SDRuno.ini file. There you have the name for a range and its start and end frequency and the step size together with the missing modulation mode. Mode 1 are AM and mode 2 are NFM and mode 3 are FM
