Trying to update my 396T

I now have version 1.20.13 in one of my Ts, have the V3 registration key but when I attempt to open the scn file, Windows doesn't recognize it and won't open it. Help please? Do I have to install something else to open these files?

I now have version 1.20.13 in one of my Ts, have the V3 registration key but when I attempt to open the scn file, Windows doesn't recognize it and won't open it. Help please? Do I have to install something else to open these files?

The BC_VUP program is what reads the SCN file and updates the scanner. The instructions are on the UNIDEN site. I am sure UPMAN will chime in and provide the LINKS to the info.
