Can anyone confirm if Tucson PD is still on VHF or did they switch over to a trunked system. I'm heading there in November and would like to plan ahead.

Still on VHF. There aren't even any firm plans for what kind of trunked system they might eventually build, much less construction underway, much less being on the trunked system. So years away still. Voters just recently passed a massive bond to build a hundred and some million dollar trunked radio system for all (read: many) public safety agencies in the county to share. But nothing set in stone yet.
