Hello, gents! And greetings from Northern Michigan! I thought I would throw this post out to anyone near the Sault Ste. Marie area the information posted below. There is a duplicate post on the Michigan forums.

*TERRORISM SCENARIO EVENT: OPERATION BRIDGE OUT*

https://www.piersystem.com/external...eaction=EXTERNAL.docview&documentID=70025

According to the United States Coast Guard, 9th District:

"Operation Bridge Out is a multi-agency / bi-national exercise that will take place between Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The operation will start May 9 and continue through the afternoon of May 11. The exercise is designed to challenge agencies on both sides of the border to react to a national, state, and/or local emergency. Canadian, US Federal, State and local agencies will participate in Operation Bridge Out.

The Coast Guard will provide an overview of Operation Bridge Out to media attendees. The presentation will consist of a Power Point Presentation titled Bridge Out Time Line, immediately followed by a question and answer session.

Members of the media are asked to contact William White II, ENS USCG at 906-635-3310 or wwhiteii@grusaultstemarie.uscg.mil to RSVP by April 29, 2005."

I'm here a lot
Hi ncarpenter

I was wondering if you are near Sault Ste. Marie, would you do us a big
favour and submit active freq.'s for the database.

The Ontario northern regions are data poor. :(

I recall someone saying that SSM ,Ontario has a trunked system.
It would make a great addition to the Ontario database.
Thank you if this is at all possible.

Terribly sorry, I don't have any frequency information for the Ste. Marie area :( All I have is the information that can already be found under the Radio Reference database. Furthermore, I'm not really near that area, more of the North-western area of the lower pennisula of Michigan (the pinky). About the only thing I can monitor is our state-wide ASTRO system (MPSCS). All the control frequencies plus a map of the antenna sites can be located here:

Again, sorry I can't help with any of the details! You may want to consider heading over to the Michigan scanning forums and asking that question again for anyone that may be in the area!

Michigan scanning forums here:

Good luck, let us know what you find out!
