The Tulsa area scanner meeting is official after the many votes for Wednesday. So here is the official word...

Tulsa meeting was a success!

We had 5 people show up: Hardy, Commshrek, Tiawah466, peterjmag, and myself!

It was good to meet everybody! I hope more can show up next time around :wink:

We decided that we would wait untill the holliday season is over to try and have another. Sometime in mid January. So start looking at those calanders now and lets come up a date. The Delta I felt worked out nice, we had our own room and our almost too attentive waitress. My eyeballs are still floating from the 27 Dr. Peppers she brought me. I also have a door prize in mind for a drawing.

My boss is an ass and wouldn't let me off of work. To add insult to injury, I'm self employed.

I'm attaching this picture of myself as proof that the reason I didn't show up is not becuase I'm afraid I'm not good looking enough to hang with this group.

I have a BC 785D and I just purchased an Icom 208H. I live in Pawnee Coutny so I'm tuned into this area but i travel all over the state and region. I'm particularly interested in the OK DPS trunk systtem and figuring it out.

The BC785 is a great scanner, I've had one for 2 years now and love it! welcome to the forum, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. We're planning another get together sometime after the holidays are over in January.

Welcome Allpro, not to try and scare you off, this is aimed at everyone else. What does any of this have to to with the Tulsa area meeting that happened last week? Allpro if you want you can pm me with any questions about the 785 you might have, as for the Icom I have no dealing with them. If you start a new thread here in the Oklahoma forum I am shure that someone might be able to help you out with both of them. Also the Uniden and Icom forums will probably have lots of info. And again welcome to our little world.

For some of us it's here already, Foghorn :lol: . the Tulsa Site has a TON of traffic, Tulsa Police, Fire, and Co sheriff are on it, and lots of other local police & fire agencies as well as other misc. stuff are as well.
