Tulsa EMSA Dispatch is being heard on old MED 5?

I am currently hearing Tulsa EMSA dispatch on their old Dispatch Channel MED 5 (463.1 PL 162.2) anyone know why? It's kind of nice to hear.

I was noticing that tonight, only dispatch though not hearing any of the units. So maybe they are still on the 800 digital and just simulcasting on med 5 for dispatch only? I'm almost afraid it's an accident.

Maybe just a maybe they are going to use this for the media or something although more than likely I am wrong.

From what I understand, Media already has digital radios to follow EMSA with.

I know for a FACT That media doens't have Digital radios to listen to EMSA at least KOTV and KTUL don't.

EMSA traffic on low band

I heard control traffic on the EMSA UHF 463.100 around 4:30pm today!

I wonder why EMSA doesn't simulcast their main dispatch channel on 463.100. I know that it would not only benefit scanner enthusiast, but also law enforcement officers that monitored it in their vehicles.

As far as news media having access to the digital radios, I don't know. From talking to an EMSA crew the other night they said that one of the media organizations was given restricted access to their digital radios after filing a freedom of information lawsuit.
