We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

"Tulsa Man Convicted In Acid Attack On Ex-Girlfriend
KOTV - 8/25/2006 9:43 AM - Updated: 8/25/2006 11:38 AM
A Tulsa County jury has recommends 60 years in prison for a man convicted for his role in an acid attack on his ex-girlfriend.

Keith Robinson was found guilty of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit a felony for the attack in which another woman threw sulfuric acid into the face of Lynn Scott.

Scott has had five surgeries and isn't sure if she will regain her eyesight.

The other woman, Lacrisha Thomas was convicted in May on the same charges and faces 12.5 years in prison at her formal sentencing."

So, a woman throws acid on another woman's face and she gets 12.5 years. The man gets 60? There must be more to the story. Any of you Tulsa folk got the dish on this?

If heard correctly the man had threatned the woman who throw the acid. Something to do with her kids. The woman who was burned was an ex-girlfriend or ex-wife.
