That is old news. No the state and feds are trying to get all law enforcement to go to 700 mhz with the state and federal homeland
security pick up the tab. They hd meetings about it last year in okc in Nov. about it. suposedly within 5 years they are going to do this. Last I
heard they are only about 50 milloion dollars short of raising the money so
it probably wont happen too soon. But since nextel has won some recent law suits...it probably will.
