TRX-1: Tune Mode and other undocumented features

I like the new tune mode and search for objects in the latest release, but shouldn't these also show up in the search modes menu? If I didn't read the post by Whistler Wendy I would have no idea how to access these features. The PDF manual on the Whistler site doesn't include any information about it, nor does the manual have any info about the Function-# shortcut keys that have been updated in recent firmwares. I just got this scanner a few weeks ago and these few updates make me wonder what else don't I know about that this scanner can do?

I wouldn't hold my breath or go on a hunger strike waiting for adequate documentation for this scanner from the marketer. However, some folks are independently releasing some information and firmware fixes.
