SDRTrunk v0.5.0 Beta 2 running on Windows 10.

Under the "Tuners" tab, at the top are all of the tuners that are currently connected to my PC. Below this, there is a list of tuners that show up if you click on one of them. There are options for "New", "Delete", or "Assign". How do I use this feature, or do I need to? Usually the Delete and Assign buttons are grayed out. It appears that the currently selected tuner may have an asterisk next to it if it is currently assigned, but I can't unassign any of them. It appears that I can just ignore the "Tuner Configurations" section, but I would like to know how to use it.

I'm sure if you read the manual on github it might tell you how to use it.

With that said, I have zero idea what it is for. But I use the playlist editor and made a system, then run it.
When I click tuners, it says what sdr is being used - but other than that I have no idea

dave, yes, I did find that page and I read it. But I don't fully understand how to use it.

For example, if you select a tuner from the upper list, the ability to "Delete" it or "assign" it is grayed out. I assumed it was to select from all the available connected tuners; i.e., you could select them or not without pluging unplugging them.

I believe it is for saving Gain / ppm values. Like a different rf source might require different gain settings, this allows you to save and change them. I THINK thats how it works, not certain though.
