Tunica City & County in Memphis?

Can anyone confirm actually hearing transmissions from Tunica City or County in the Memphis area? I've never picked up anything but I understand they ARE active.

Ron, I have pointed my yagi at Tunica and can't hear a thing. I am in East Memphis. My antenna is at about 70'.

I used to monitor Tunica from Raliegh-Millington Road in Memphis... Used to be able to snag em from home there all the way into Tunica when going to the casinos

Strange, unless the control channels have changed. Tried again tonite with a various combination of antennas (all at least 50'), radios, etc. No control channels heard from East Memphis.

I Have The Numbers For Tunica And I Monitor Them When I Am In Tunica But I Havent Ever Picked Tunica Up From Memphis But If U Want To Know The Tunica Numbers Let Me Know. They R 800's

Thanks. We have the freqs, etc. They are in the RR database for Tunica County. Everyone was trying to see if they could be heard in the Memphis area. BTW, their FCC license shows output power of 100 watts. Lot of trees, etc. between here and Tunica.

I guess the only reason i locked onto em was that Raliegh-Millington is the highest area in Memphis..... Plus when mobile I had an signal amp on the Mobile mag mount ....
