Currently looking at the GRECOM PSR 500/800, RS Pro 18/106, BCD396xt, etc

Anyone know if these models have ability to use a dial/knob as a tuning dial?
Instead of importing freqs, just turn the knob with customizable increments of .00001 or .00005 etc just like a car radio?

Perhaps with the ability to also just type in specific freq number?

I notice the 500, 160, 396 have number keys, so they can do this right?

Please forgive rudimentary questions.
Thanks if any.

Yes, the GRE models 500/600 can have the frequencies directly entered in. You can also "tune" using the up/down arrows. Tuning is done in a preset increment though.

On the Uniden models 996/396XT you press Func+Scan and in the "hold" mode you can scroll with the knob up and down like the "Tune" feature on GRE/RS models plus you can pre-set the increment to what ever in the "search' modes....
