BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Turning OFF Location Database?

If this is already posted,Please point me to it,But Im trying to disable the location DB,It makes boot up take a long time and I cannot shut it off. so it gos to my fav list..

Is this already discussed,or posted,Please point me there if it is..

From within Sentinel:
1)Select Edit->Edit Profile->Favorites Lists Tab->Uncheck "Monitor Full Database".
2)Write changes back to HP.
3)Profit.

What do you mean by the 'location DB'? Do you mean the Full Database?

Is it that you want it only to scan your favorites lists?

If that's the case, then hit MENU (the lower of the two rubber keys on the left side), press E on "Set Scan Selection", move to "Select Lists to Monitor", hit E again, move to "Full Database", hit E until it says "Off" beside it, then hit SYSTEM to resume scanning.

Did from the sentinel software,Saw that post first..
Yes the FullDB..I rarely use those DBs for my monitoring,
Ive always did all the programing myself..

Thank you for posting the procedure for manual programing from
the keypad/func-menu keys..
