Hi all,
I just bought a Uniden LDR850, it's on FW 1.2
One annoying thing about the Uniden is the stupid voice that comes with it. Is there a way to turn off the voice completely? Especially the startup sound "Uniden" every time I turn on my car. I went to the menu and turned off Voice, but the voice is still present when turning on the device (as in every time i turn on my car)
Is this fixed in a different FW, or do I just have to get used to that voice every time i turn on the car?
I would really love to know the answer, maybe even a hardware solution that hooks to the speaker to delay power to it. Any ideas?
