Hello, my pro 96 came loaded with freqs I that I don't want. I need to reprogram it much easier with software 1 question does software like win96 need to be hooked up to internet to run, other than to get updates 2 question if it unlocks milair, is it always unlocked or does it have to be connected to software to hear

if you have win 96 and the proper cable then you have most of what youneed... the only thing to add are the freqs you want to monitor... #1, correct, the only time you need the net for win 96 is for updates. #2, so long as your extended freqs box is checked each time you load the scanner you should hear milair... just make sure you check the settings before you upload....

you might want to download the freqs that were loaded into your radio when you got it.... just in case you want to fiddle with them later....
