Operating a feed(s) with Raspberry Pi Computer. Trying to send two feeds from two different accounts. Feed 1 with user wwhalen, (Concord Fire) works fine, indicates "Running". Feed two user: bwhalen1904, (Acton Fire Dispatch) will not start. It states it is starting but does not change to run. Can I run two different accounts with the same Raspberry Pi program?

Also feed is over modulated on line. I have the radio volume turned down. Using a 'Sound Blaster Play!' USB sound adaptor and can't get the controller to load onto the Raspberry Pi.

Please direct me for help.
Thanks, Bill

Bill,

I routinely run multiple BCFY P25 TRS feeds using op25 on a Raspberry Pi-4 with no difficulties. Can you elaborate on what your setup
consists of exactly?

I trying to provide two separate bcfy feeds, one for Concord and one for Acton. The two feed are from two different accounts. The Concord Feed is from my original account from 2009. The Acton account is my Sons but he moved out of the area, so i am currently broadcasting the feed from a separate computer. Both feeds are analog. I have two radios, one for each FD and two usb sound cards plugged into the pi, each with an audio cable from the individual radio. I believe i will need to cancel the Acton account and start a new Acton feed under my account. This is all new to me. My other Son set the Pi feed up originally.
Sorry if its too much information. Thanks for your help, Bill

Bill,

What software was installed on the Raspberry Pi to stream the feeds? Are you sending any tags BCFY?

Bill,

That link is for the Raspberry Pi Operating System (OS). I was referring to the particular Linux software application
that was built/installed on the Pi to stream the audio from your scanners/receivers to BCFY in an effort to offer
assistance with the configurations to avoid feed conflicts.

I am going to assume that youR son did the original setup work and can probably tell you what application he used to
stream the feed(s).

Hello again wgbecks, don't know what the "Linux software application" is. Are you referring to the "Darkice" program? I thought that was imbedded in the BCFY program. Also I'm not sending tags. Feed radios are older Motorola two-way radios. Attached is the Darkice setup.
Sorry for the delay, Bill

Well... I established a new Acton Fire /EMS feed under my own account in an attempt to run two feeds off one Raspberry Pi computer.
I am currently running the new feed on a windows laptop computer to maintain the feed. I shut down the feed running on the laptop computer and confirmed it was shut down on Broadcastify. Mutable attempts' to forced the new feed to start from the menu. The original feed (Concord Fire) runs fine on the Pi but I still can not get the second feed to run, see Darkice image above. Do I have the wrong Broadcastify software to run two feeds?
Thanks for any Help, Bill

I haven't used Darkice for a very longtime, and then only had a single feed configured. Just guessing that it might be necessary to configure
and run separate instances to resolve your problem.

In recent years, I have switched to Liquidsoap that allows me to run multiple feeds within the same instance (if desired) that supports totally
different destinations/credentials with the added benefit of introducing audio processing (leveling/peak control).

My feeds are primarily all P25/P25 TRS related whereby I make use of SDR's and with OP25 that interfaces directly with Liquidsoap
that frees up use of expensive scanners. Additionally, Liquidsoap allows defining audio sources from USB sound device such as you
are already doing with Darkice to interface the commercial analog radios.

Your best bet might be to look for a Darkice users forum where you can post questions relevant to your particular needs.
