Hello Everybody,
This is more of a confirmation post than anything else. Did I read correctly that even though I have a BC796D digital trunk tracking scanner that I will not be able to monitor the Virginia STARS radio system? I have it programmed in correctly (I believe(?)). Second, someone mentioned that Rockingham County is going to a trunk tracked system. Will I be able to monitor that with my scanner?
My understanding was that to be able to monitor either one of those systems, you would have to have the Radioshack Pro 96 or 2096 OR Uniden 396T or 996T. Is this information correct?
