Yes..

Yes you can run as many scanners as you want (receivers). You cannot run multiple transmitters at the same time unless you have a switch in the feedline.

I'm using a coax 'Tee' in my discone feedline. Receiving on an old RS PRO-2004 and my PRO-2053.

Here are some coax switches. You don't need one if you are only using a scanner or multiple scanners (receive only).

There is a caveat, however. You will lose 3dB with each tee.

The proper way to do it is with a device such as the Stridsberg multicoupler: http://www.stridsberg.com/prod01.htm

But, if you can live with 3dB per split, that's fine, too. You could have some interaction between the receivers, however.

Um, of course. Just hook up the antenna to the scanner that you want to listen to. Then, you can disconnect the antenna and hook it up to another scanner. In fact, you could run thousands of scanners this way, one at a time, to one antenna!

Yes I have heard of a transmit combiner. I was just giving a simple answer to a simple question, which was how to RECEIVE on one antenna.
:)
Thank you for the slap up' side the head.

I think the cost of a transmit combiner for the basic scanner user would render it non-existant anyway :)
