Thanks for the response guys.
Looks like the Electroline will take 2 antenna inputs.
I have a Scantenna and a Yagi that I would like to utilize as inputs and then attach two different radios. These aren't an antenna switcher.
I would assume I would need something else?

No, these are designed with only one antenna input. The other connector is used for power to the splitter. Yes, they use an "F" style connector for power as well as the antenna connections.

I'm not sure how you would connect two different antennas to one of these, you would need a coaxial antenna switch or a diplexer of some sort.

Electronline is a distribution amp, with only ONE input and multiple outputs.

Two antennas connected together cause all manner of phase cancellation
problems. Bad idea.

You would need a diplexer when connecting two antennas for different frequencies.

I don't know of any hobby-use combiners for two antennas on the same frequency band
unless you win the lotto.

You would be better off using what I do, a high-end coaxial switch rated to 2 ghz, and
then just switch between them as needed.

I have an 800 yagi and an 800 omni and just switch between the two as needed.

You have a link or name of a distributor?

Hi All..Just touching on this further. I have five that I want to hookup. I know you recommend the EDA-UG2402 but this site http://www.cabletvamps.com/drop amps.htm has a EDA-FT08100 that has zero loss. Wouldn't this be the ideal one as the 4 plug one has a loss of seven and the other 8 plug has a loss of 10. I don't know anything about these couplers but with the 8 hookup one you can expand to more radios. Or am I looking at this the wrong way..Cheers..Keithmj

I would suggest going with the EDA-UG2802 8-port model. http://www.cabletvamps.com/Products/EDA-UG2802.htm
Note: if you're patient, you can find these on eBay from time-to-time for a whole lot less $.

Hi Steve..Thanks for the heads up on this. Got it before it got away..Now what kind of connectors do I need for this besides the BNC? Cheers..Keithmj

"F" video connectors.

Get the snap-n-seal, not the crimp on type.

You can then buy adapters F to almost any other format.

Where would a good place be to buy this? I would like to get 10-16 of these. I checked Ebay but didn't see what I needed..Thanks..Keithmj
All kinds compression connectors here.

You will also need a special tool to compress these connectors correctly. Tools are also shown at the above link. I personally like the Digicon or PPC brand of connector, but they all will work fine.

It helps when you know what you are looking for..Am I correct to assume I need the ones for the RG6 cable? Is that what everyone uses or recommends? I just want to make sure I order the correct connectors..Thanks..Keithmj

Yes, if you are using RG6 cable get RG6 connectors. The only other 75 ohm cable you would want to use is RG11. RG11 has less loss, but is larger in diameter and a little harder to work with. RG11 is good for longer cable runs - say over 50 feet. RG11 F connectors are also available. I use RG11 outside and RG6 inside the house.
