Is there a question hidden in your post?
No. As I said in the begining of my post, "FYI" = For Your Information. Owners and potential new buyers have been discussing this topic for years, attempting to determine which models may or may not have factory production problems, hardware (chip) changes, and firmware updates. They're also curious as to what dealers are shipping the latest and greatest.

Some guys have all the luck😄... no hum on either one.

Thanks for sharing that, the one that you got in late 2022 was machine number 7500 and something manufactured in 2001. The radio you got in April of 2023 was machine 2500 and something manufactured in 2022. Very well could have the fix.

I fixed the error on the first radio, I had said it was the 2500 something off the line but I meant to say 7500 something off the line.

Your decoding doesn't jive with the Wiki:
For example, my 200 serial ends with 18006388. According to the wiki, that means mine was number 6388 of the 2021 production run. Is there something I'm missing on this?

Looks good to me, the reason I always suggest to use the serial number on the back of the radio which would indicate the fifth symbol being the year of manufacture instead of using the ESN which is slightly different on the information section of settings is simply that you don't have to turn the radio on to obtain all the information you need.

If I remember correctly, it's the 7th symbol in the ESN that indicates the year of manufacture, the last numbers following the zeros will always be the order it was manufactured and that starts over with every year.

The SDS radios will always have an eight following the year of manufacture as that indicates it was made in Vietnam.

So in @iMONITOR's case, these are the 75th and 25th unit of the production run, not 7500-ish and 2500-ish.

Nope, he blocked out the last two numbers for privacy, there are four numbers after the zeros on both radios.😉

My SDS 200 from Main Trading in Texas was made in 2021 and has zero hum to it. It sounds better than the one I got three years ago this month from Bearcatwarehouse that I did the hum fix to scraping the board and that made a huge difference at that time compared to how it was when it came out of the box.

Any vendors out there want to confirm they have stock of SDS 100s with the new hardware chip and solder joint revisions from last year? I presume I want something with an SN showing it was made last year. I'll take two of them right now.

Just got both of my SDS 100s today from ScannerMaster. One was made in 2021 and the other in 2022.

Correction to my original post above. The correct firmware for the Sub is 1.02.01, not 1.21.01

My appologies for the screw-up. Lately I've been averaging only 2-4 hours sleep per night. I'll try to be more careful.
