I apologize if this is a "re-hash". Monitoring TWRA Region 4 units/base NAC 294 159.3000. Lots of bear sightings....some 2 way from boat unit. Heard them say they were switching to 800 mhz....would this be on TACN? Looked at standard database..no 800 mhz listed,just the aforementioned VHF.

I would say yes to the TACN. I know Region 3 uses TACN from time to time and their TGID has been identified. That is the only 800 MHz that I know TWRA uses.

Yes that would be TACN.... We have not ID'ed every region yet, as they mainly still run VHF. that may start changing in many locations once the TACN is finished in the next couple of years.

We now have dispatch talkgroups for all four regions.
I'm guessing there are some additional "operations" talkgroups as well...
