Can anyone confirm the frequencies for TN Wildlife Resources Agency and if you've actually heard conversation on them in the West Tennessee area. I've got the frequencies listed on RR-- and aware that it's APCO-25 but I haven't heard anything. Wasn't aware that VHF-HI could be APCO-25. I had heard once somewhere that they were encrypted.

Ron,

Have heard traffic on 159.2400 here in Munford on more than one occasion.
It is APCO digital, haven't heard traffic on other freqs.

I have also heard TWRA in the Memphis area. Can't verify freq as radio isn't here right now. Strong signals though. APCO-25 modulation.

TWRA Memphis

Thanks guys. That's the same frequency they used on VHF-High. I'll give it a try and see if I hear anything in my area.

Clarification on P-25 and freqs.... Any band can be digital, VHF Lo, VHF Hi, UHF, 700, 800.... For example, TWRA.... And a lot of Railroads are switching to digital, and lets not forget D-Star digital for HAMs. :)
