Next to a scanner...
I was searching around the VHF band just outside of San Antonio and happened to find 151.520 Mhz in P25 - putting that in the P25 scanner - its encrypted. It looks like there are many licenses for that in the state, but only two in the SA area - TX Airlife (WQJN564) and Costco...hm. I doubt they talk about clean-up in isle 4 in encrypted P25. Anyone else heard this before?

News to me.. Could you tell if it was voice traffic or a data transmission. I know a lot in the SA area have been working to transmit 12 lead readings to hospitals.

It is definitely P25 encrypted.

I'm also getting simplex Encrypted P25 on 159.9525 which is also licensed to Airlife here in Bexar County (and is the only licensee in the area) NAC is 273.

Airlife is still dispatching on 159.885
