If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

Hi there...

I've got some strange Problem. I've got an NX-700-E device, programmed with KPG-111D V.2.9. I've programmed no specialities and feautures. Just a simple simplex Frequency like 145.500Mhz analog an with 5k bandwith.

So lets have look at the Error:

If i power the device on everything is normal like on my NX-800-E. But if i push the PTT Button on my Handmike the device shutdown and start again. My Powersource has a power capacaty of 40A so that couldnt be the Problem. Ive tested multiple kinds of antennas with 50 Ohms and a big dummy load. So where can be the Problem?

Tnx for reply =)

Have you tried any other frequency besides a 2 meter frequency? If you have not try it, something like 155 or 160.

Are you using the supplied wiring harness from kenwood?

Check the power supply voltage. Even though it sounds like you have a large power supply, if the voltage is low, it can do what you are describing. Also, make sure you don't have any faulty connections. Loose crimps or other bad connections will cause these sorts of failures.

Where is your antenna mounted? I have seen VHF radios cause issues with cheap power supplies when the get a large dose of VHF rf.

Try a dummy load.

Are you sure the PS has good voltage? Do you have a multimeter to check? Do you have another power source to check it on as well 15A should do.
