I've been getting a lot of hash and noise on their channel in Abilene, and am wondering if they've gone to some type of digital or encrypted? I never hear intelligible conversation anymore. Plus, on our 150.0075 channel, where Abilene Regional Hospital paging is, there is now a lot more of the old type squalling bawling type electronic paging. I don't know if they're phasing out their voice paging or not. I still get some voice paging, but a lot of this new but old squalling noise also. Could be, it's Hendrick with some new stuff, but it sure makes monitoring unpleasant now. I may have to eventually just lock it out.
