Txt alert, just a thought

As a feed provider, Would it be possible to get a cell phone txt alert when there is a problem with my feed; feed down, complaints, etc.If someone has a work around, please let me know.

Set your notification email address to your texting address. For example, for Verizon phones it is <your 10-digit number>@vtext.com. I think it even has an option to specify that it is a mobile device.

I have my email setup and logged in on my cell phone's app. I get my notifications on 2 separate addresses. No texts. It has been that way since my feed was set up 4+ years ago.
