As of 6-1-17, the smartzone analog 2318 system was turned off for good. All frequencies will now be added to the P25 1A7 system.

Hmm...I'm still hearing sites 26 and 29...maybe they have a life of their own.

Sad day indeed. I fondly remember my STX 821 happily playing 2318. It was a flagship Moto type II system. Good memories. Maybe a memorial at one of the sites? I got some old 800 dipoles somewhere around here I could bring to the candlelight vigil...

Fear not, a handful of parted-out Quantars from 2318 may soon be coming to a ham frequency near you! One might even be on the air already. :)
