TxWARN in Cedar Park

Does anyone know why on earth TxWARN has a repeater in Cedar Park (Austin-area)? Their coverage area appears to be metro Houston and the Brazo River basin. All I can come up with is they wanted a tower in Austin due to it being the state capital, but why not put it actually in Austin?

I do monitor it because odd stuff pops up from time to time.

Makes sense. I usually hear DPS units from the Houston area and, for some reason, Washington Co SO.

I think it has something to do with Disaster communications and being linked to Austin. Also used some by TxDot.

The sites neighbor is the Wash Co Burton site so you will hear them a pretty fair amount if they are on the burton tower.
