Hello

I recently picked up this HT from a local hamfest. It is advertised as a tri-band radio, it came with all the original material and box, but I am unable to tune to anything in the 1.25 meter band. When I switch to VFO input and manually input a frequency like 224.00 it just gives me two quick beeps and returns. Also, programming a channel with Chirp doesn't work either.

The other bands can tune fine. In fact the radio can tune 136-174 and 400-470MHz. Just not the 220-260MHz per its specifications.

Has anyone had this problem & is aware of a fix?

Nevermind, I figured it out. Once chirp was able to successfully pull in the settings for the radio, I was able to change the VHF Upper Limit setting, and now 220 works fine.
