Tytera TYT TH-9800 Software & Memory setup

I used to have a FT-8800 but had to sell it a while back.

They no longer make them or anything even close.

Basically I want a Dual Band that has the ability to scan 2 bands at once.

Does anyone know if it has the same bank setup that the FT-8800/8900 had?

I see RT Systems has their software for these (I still have my FT-8800 Data files from their software)

Unless I just completely missed it when I programmed mine, I didn't see any banks. Everything goes together which is one of the things I don't like about the radio. My other complaint is the volume. All in all for the price it isn't a bad radio but it does have some minor issues.

The FT-8900 lumped everything together. The FT-8800 had banks.

I guess I know why I liked my FT-8800 !

Too bad I had to sell it!
