U/Aware: U/AWARE questions ???

I have my SDS150 and U/AWARE app running and have some questions about the u/aware app.

1. There are two circles on the right-hand top of u/aware app. one stays green I think this is to tell me that there is a connection between SDS150 and U/AWARE APP, is this correct.
2. To the left of the green circle is a grey circle that keeps going from grey to white, can someone tell me what this means, the app seems to have a problem keeping a good strong connection to WI-FI connection and I am only several feet away from my router.
3. I have my SDS150 screen set to go off until the Squelch is broken and then on the scanner the screen comes on but, on the U/aware app it does not shut the screen off, is there a way to fix this.
4. If anyone has the answers to my questions it would be helpful to me.

1. The circles mirror the lights on the front of the scanner: left being the alert, right being the charge status.
2. See above. Also, it uses Bluetooth, not WiFi, to connect, which a much shorter range.
3. I’m not sure what you’re asking… are you looking for the app screen to go dark at the same time the scanner‘s does?

He means on his scanner the backlight on the display is off until the squelch opens... Then it turns on...
Backlight then turns off when trasmission is done...

He's asking if the App can be set to do that too...

Right. No, the app doesn’t mirror the squelch settings on the screen. I don’t see any setting in the app for that either.

Just an FYI...
The backlight is all that turns off on the scanner...
The display itself is actually still running...
