U of M monitoring

I will be spending a few hours at the U of M East bank hospital on weds and am wondering if it's worth bringing my scanner?. What is there to listen to?.

Besides the normal ARMER traffic there is a lot to pick up in the area. I believe all of the Hospital radios are now NXDN, In the area you have University of MN with both analog and DMR systems, Augsburg with DMR, Railroad traffic not far away, plenty of business systems in Downtown Minneapolis to discover - there is radio traffic to be monitoring just depends on what you want to hear.

If listening to amateur radio is your thing there is a DMR repeater on top of Moos tower

As mentioned above, plenty to monitor on ARMER system pretty much 24/7, especially off of the tower in that area.

KMSP International Airport is close by also.
