I only receive site 122 on Eastern Long Island. The only tg seen in use has been 308822. The only rid's seen so far are 8804456 & 8804409. The only comms seen were enc and Phase 2. Has anyone seen rid's 880xxxx before?

Is anyone out there seeing any P25 systems in the 162-174 MHz or getting any hits on any of the control channels listed above? If so, what state are you in?

All of the sites on that system have a nac of 4Dx . The site here on the East Coast has a site nac of 4Fx. I believe that's a different system. Still coming in strong on Long Island NY. As much as I love skip, I kinda hate it as all my conventional uhf fd freqs that are csq go nuts.

And with it only being heard [weak] from CT, it is likely South/Southwest of my Area. [New England]

Do not rule out something local to compliment or eventually replace the conventional FIO network in the NYC Metro Area.

I'm picking up a strong signal on 173.550 in the NY/NJ/PA tri-states area.

I've created a new system for this, left it in staging for the time being until we can figure it out.

I added a new frequency to the "NYC" site. Can we change Suffolk to Long Island ;)

From where I am in Nassau, I can lock onto the NYC and Suffolk Site. I am seeing them as neighbors to each other.
From Site 122 (Suffolk), only 117 (NYC) is the neighbor. From 117 (NYC) , both 122 (Suffolk) and 118 (Duchess) are neighbor sites.

As far as I'm aware, the FIO site is in Suffolk County, as the NYC site covers Nassau. That's why I labeled it as such.

That's why I winked. With all these federal sites it's always a best guess as to where these are since you can't just look them up online. It really doesn't matter to me that its not called "Long Island", and Suffolk definitely makes more sense if this system ends up replacing the FIO sites.

Site 117 must be quite powerful for me to get it, albeit weakly, in Northcentral CT on the MA line.

Saturday early AM I was getting a weak CC signal on 170.8375 from a remote scanner at 1000' in Northcentral CT. Since it was a 996P2, it only showed BEE00.04F0-1 so I did not get a site number. Good conditions then so could have been from anywhere.

Site 117 info from DSDPlus
Site: 1.117 NAC=4F7

Neighbor: BEE00.4F0-1.118
Neighbor: BEE00.4F0-1.122

Channel 8-778: 171.72500 CC
Channel 8-853: 172.66250 SCC
Channel 8-938: 173.72500 SCC

I believe the conventional FIO site is on the ESB. If not up there, then some other pretty tall building in the city.

According to the NIFOG
NYC = NYC
FIO-N = Orange-Putnam
FIO-E = Suffolk
FIO-S = Central NJ
Affirm, see what I posted earlier.

Also, NYC site should be on Chrysler Bldg, not the ESB. Same difference, it's up there!
