Federal Court District Map
Both the U.S. Marshall Service and the U.S. Attorney's Office are organized based on these districts. The information is current except for the list of Supreme Court Justices. However, this is from the website of the Supreme Court so it is the latest the court has posted. The 94 federal district courts haven't changed in quite a long time. The colors on the map and the numbers refer to the Circuit Courts of Appeal. This map has helped me understand who is prosecuting cases, what circuit court of appeals has issued decisions on district court rulings when I read about cases covered by the media. The number of districts a state has is governed by state population and workload.

I'm a map nerd and have computer files and file cabinets full of them (6 full drawers). They are useful for gaining an understanding of radio systems and the traffic heard on them.

Just curious if anyone has seen any activity on any of these sites lately? Been locked on 122 all day and see nothing happening.
What does "locked on 122 all day" mean?
The two sites I linked to are working for me and just a minute ago.
I'm guessing he has a scanner or software parked on Site 122 watching for activity.
Correct. I have Unitrunker sitting all day and other than a strong control channel, not one bit of activity. No tg affiliations or radio joins. Then again, it is the government.

They probably got pulled off locating fugitives to sleep in the back of the courtroom. Thankless job. Those guys run around putting their lives at risk and then get pulled off for court duty constantly.
Not much activity on site 122 yet but, seems site 117 Trumbull has a new neighbor in the Uhf band.
Anyone seeing anything on 406.6125?
Just guessing here, but are there any federal prisons nearby? They tend to be on UHF and might make sense to get tied in to this system somehow.
There are two federal prison facilities in the New York City area. Both have their own UHF trunked systems.
Not sure how likely they would be moved to this system, at least at this time...

Yes. FCI Danbury, CT. It's a Club Fed level facility.
So has anyone received a control channel on 406.6125?
It was confirmed active by a friend from Bethel. Nobody has had time to chase it down yet.
Pretty sure the site is FCI Danbury, just needs to be verified.
