Saw a news clip about some old remains found on the SE side and it showed SA Park Police working with U.S. Park Rangers. They had a close up of one of the Rangers and it looked like an xts 5000 he was carrying. Anyone heard them before? I heard they use to be on 163.125 but I have not anything.

I remember a few years ago, throwing in the frequencies for the NPS that had been identified around Texas, but never heard anything. I only heard stuff near LBJ NHP near Johnson City.

ps ~ Hey Mark or John, did you ever log a tone on 163.125 ?
no tone, I caught a tail end of a conversation about four years ago in analog on some 163 freq. All I heard was in service and some misson name.
