Good morning, all! Not to make light of things, but if you think you're having a bad morning...
I heard United 2275 calling ARINC on 128.9000 MHz this morning asking to speak to maintenance and then requesting an overweight landing at Phoenix on account of an overflowing toilet that was "coming from under the lav door and into the aft galley... it's sewage...".
Pilot then went on to request divert authorization to land at Phoenix approximately 3,500 pounds over landing weight, "We have no choice but to divert to Phoenix."
