UASD vs blank lines

I've noticed a lot of blank lines (channel lines) in my groups, and I'm hoping these aren't loaded into my 396T when I program it (because I can't find a way to get rid of them). Does UASD not upload these to the scanner, or do I end up with bunches of space occupied by these blank lines?

btw, I've looked for an answer in the alleged help file for UASD, but it's just not there.

Select the channel that is blank, then under the 'Edit' menu item is a selection to 'Delete Channel'

Boy, do I feel like a dummy! All the looking around and peeking in corners (so to speak), and I never saw that.
