Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. If those frequencies are in your scan cycle or your search cycle, you should be able to lock them out, as others have suggested. Turning up the squelch could lead to to miss other distant frequencies of interest. Please report back on your results.
Does the scanner pass any audio when it stops on the frequencies in question? If static, turn the squelch up a bit higher. If data bursts, "motorboating" from digital emissions, voice, etc, lock the frequencies out. Welcome to the forums!
