I am having a problem where all scans pick up a channel and then only broadcast it for about 2 seconds before moving on to another scan. I have tried adjusting the squelch and this does not fix it. Any help would be much appreciated

Negative delay value set. -2 means scanner will continue scanning after 2 seconds, even if the transmission is still in progress.

has a 2 second delay and is either on or off.

Even the user manual suggest to reset this scanner if it doesn't operate properly, as if this is not an uncommon problem.

Hold down buttons 2-9-Hold and turn on the scanner and wait until "clear" is shown on the display.
This usually means that you have to reprogram the scanner.
