UBCD436-PT not seen in win10

I cant figure this serial mode stuff.
The 436 shows as a mass storage device ok but just plugging the radio in it will not show up in device manager at all.
I have just paid for Proscan to.
Sentinal can read and write to the radio ok.
So I have the serial Uniden driver but unless I can get it to show in device manager Im unable to load the driver.
Tried my old laptop and same.

Oh dear.
Ideas please.

Think I found the answer.
Aussie PT version does not have the serial feature.
