Looking for help in getting the scanner cast zip file to open. I'm using ubuntu and this operating system will not open the scannercast exe file. What do I need to get this exe file to open?

Exe files are windows executable files and not Linux files.
You might want to try a Linux native program like darkice to stream

Many Windows program will run in a Linux program called Wine. It's a bit involved installing and setting it up.
