I downloaded the latest Firmware 2.00.07 for my 396T Thursday, placed the freqs on

Site-006 Promontory Point
851.25000
851.57500
851.73750
852.87500
853.35000
853.70000

in that order on 800Mhz Standard, placed a couple TGID's for Box Elder Co in there and placed it on search mode instead of scan mode and away she went!

851.7375 is the CC it continues to stop on.

My bad about the CC, most of the traffic stops on 853.70000 and 851.73750, does that help.

Just wondering why it seems as if no one is hearing anything except with the use of a trunk tracker of sorts with the rebanded freqs, or is just me? I'm just saying I have placed these new rebanded freqs in and I'm hearing everything just fine. So, am I just reading the post incorrectly assuming others are having issues with the rebanded freqs? Or am I dork?

I know what I am getting, know what I have. Am I the only one?
You keep asking what you are missing and I would say that you're probably not missing anything. The ones with "trunk tracker programs" are simply trying to verify all the frequencies after the site was rebanded and if anyone is having issues hearing Promontory since it changed they likely have not updated their scanners as you have, assuming their scanners are capable of being updated. The one person having problems is not having problems with listening but rather was having problems with his UniTrunker program updating the new frequencies.

1 851.1625 LCN 6 Voice
2 853.6375 LCN 105 V
3 853.8875 LCN 115 DA
4 853.9625 LCN 118 V
5 853.9875 LCN 119 V
6 851.4250 LCN 456 D
7 851.7500 LCN 469 D

Just a quick note on how my scanners are doing on West Mtn.

Pro97 -- does well, but LCN469 jumps on and off the correct freq. I have not made any changes to it yet.
396 -- Is doing ok, but will not see LCN469
246t SAME as 396
330t -- SAME as 396
Bct15 -- Not touched yet.

Going to mess with LCN stuff in freescan software.
Also CC does not work. Turn it off and then you get someting,, better than nothing.
But I think West Mtn with on on "0" on the freq its pretty easy one.

Interesting.....do they see 456??? That one is also in the "new" rebanded band plan. All the rest are the same as before rebanding....so I would expect that.....but 456???....that puzzles me.

456 is the data channel. And it works fine with out CC off.
If CC is on you hear no data at all if you you manually stop and try to listen to the data.

7 851.7500 LCN 469 "D" should be "V"

OK, Duh, should have realized that. Looks like we will have some capability, on some sites, with the older scanners.

Thanks

new 853.2125 LCN 88 V

I still have not got any of my scanners to follow 851.7000 LCN 469
On my Pro97 it will flash for a second on 862.7375, but Uniden's do nothing.

Just a quick update...

Channel 469 should be 851.7500, not 851.7000.

Your PRO-97 tunes to 862.7375 because that's the "old" (pre-rebanding) assignment for channel 469. The scanner likely tunes to that frequency, doesn't get open RF squelch, and continues scanning.

I'm showing LCN 444=851.125 instead of 465=851.650. All the other channels are the same. Which one of us is not right?

As of this morning, I also see LCN444. But over the last couple of days, I have also seen 465 and 467, with very few hits. So I think you are both right.

Yea Unitrunker will only show the LCNs and frequencies that traffic has been seen on.

Here is what I am seeing today after about 90 minutes of monitoring:

Now this is very strange. I've had Universal Trunker 1.0.0.1, running since yesterday afternoon. No show/hits on LCN 465. It shows 3286 hits for LCN 444, 29 hits for LCN 467, and 0 hits for 475 (alt control channel). My radio is tuned to 853.5500, and I'm showing full green on the sig strength. Why the difference with that one channel??

So are you saying 465 does not show on yours?

It could be that it hasn't copied any traffic yet. Parts of my list would have been left over from yesterday. I kicked it off at 08:00 and ran it until about 16:00.

I show 16 hits with the last one being at 10:27:44 today for LCN 465.

I am going to Manti tommorrow. I know as far as locations of the sites go that one of the 3 can be heard better in Richfield than Manti. I mention this because there is a Question of the locations of some of the sites down in that area. I will update with Site #'s Control And Voice Channels and anything else when i get back. i will also Check for a new one and see if Mt Baldy is up. I will not have a laptop or trunker program with me just my 396T.

I dont know which way we will take but i will update when i get back.

I was only able to pick up Site 34, which i guess is Gunnison. i Had Gunnison Programmed in my scanner a long time ago but I never got the control channel. Now that Site 34 is rebanded the control channel is 856.4375, I didnt hear any traffic while i was there, but it was saturday. The jail used to be active no matter what but i couldnt find any other control channels or activity other than manti site 323h on 860.3375 which i think might be Questar.

Neilson (Nelson) Peak has been doing some strange things today. There was a lot of shifting back and forth between the two Control Channels, then there was some adding channels, then removing channels. I have been watching the Trunker display most of the day. At the moment there are three new (to me) channels that have ben added; 454=1 hit, 455=3 hits, and 465=24 hits. I am unable to change the bandplan in the Trunker version I have, so I can't give the freqs just yet.
