For the past two weeks I've been running Unitrunker on the UCAN sites that I can receive at my home location (QTH). I tuned thru the band (850~869 Mhz looking for data channels. I then "parked" on the data channel for 24~36 hours. I then compared what I received, with what the Database shows. This is what I found out:
Site-01 Freqs 852.2750 and 852.3000 were not used. They may be used if the system gets real busy. Suggest leaving them in place.
Site-02 Suggest adding freq 859.0125.
Site-03 Freqs 857.9375, 859.4625, 859.7375, and 860.7125 were not used. They may be used if the system gets real busy. Suggest leaving them in place.
Site-04 Received matched the Database.
Site-06 Suggest adding freqs 854.1875 and 854.4375.
Site-07 Freq 853.875 was not used. It may be used if the system gets real busy. Suggest leaving it in place.
Site-09 Freq 851.2250 not used. It may be used if the system gets real busy. Suggest leaving it in place. Suggest adding Freqs 854.2125 and 854.3625.
Site-10 Suggest adding Freq 851.4625
Site-11 Suggest adding freqs 851.0375 and 853.8000.
Site-15 My notes don't make sense. I'll have to recheck it.
Site-16 Suggest adding freq 867.3250 (Yeah, I know, but trunker kept putting adding it to the list)
Site-39 Received matched the Database.
Site-40 Freq 851.1500 was not used. It may be used if the system gets real busy. Suggest leaving it in place. Suggest adding freqs 851.050 and 853.3250.
As always, any corrections, additions, or comments, mostly welcome.
If anyone can check the other sites, and let me /us know how they "stack up", I'd appreciate it.
