UCAN TG 10560 - Layton

During the snow storm the other day I heard Layton snow plow drivers using TG 10560 as a Layton Public Works talkgroup. It's in the database as "Layton PD F2" with a tag of "Law Dispatch." Does anyone know if this could be "Layton PW"? There's already a Layton PD 2 (TG 10464), and unlike a lot of the other larger cities, Layton doesn't have a Public Works TG listed in the RR database.

I heard the plows on 10560 too so I think you're right it should be PW instead of PD.

Layton Public Works/PD 3

I had this programmed as the above from an old UCAN list that the 7202 group had. Not sure about now but late at night then the PD did use this as another car to car TG on occasion.

Many of the cities around these parts used a PW freq as a car to car late at night pre-UCAN and I have seen the same thing from time to time with some on the UCAN system.

OK Thanks. Sounds like a PW channel that might also be used as a backup PD car channel.

Good catch! It seems like there was an excess of police channels.

I remember programming this as Layton PF2. Which I figure was Police/Fire 2.
As far as I can tell, no one has positively identified this channel.
A lot of cities/towns in Davis Co. had "city" channels.
