Anyone monitoring the UCLA protests tonight? Any luck finding the best inter-agency freqs or systems or any feed with the leo comms? UCLA and LAPD pretty quiet.
I was listening in earlier on south division and then they said that the city was in a state of emergency and about every 30 minutes they would send out a tactical broadcast saying that an unexpected occurrence had happened in the west division and said that any west units should switch to west bureau tac 1 channel 30 something I believe. Hotshot told all southwest units to avoid Jefferson and some other street can’t remember.
Thanks ya heard that too. LA Captain's Youtube channel has the Tac (OWB 1 Channel 39) and lots of interagency stuff scanning but very very little traffic.
My "go to" channels for all the on-scene riot info is (drum-roll please).....
FRS!
All the riot kiddies seem to be on FRS with all kinds of juicy riot morsels
UCLA PD is on an 800 MHz trunked radio that doesn't have great range. The CHP and LAPD will be on simplex. So all is hard to monitor unless you're right there.
